Biography:
Authement's installations and sculptures deal with the ephemera of the human body while exploring the juxtaposition of the elements of the natural world in conjunction with the essence of the individual.

Authement has exhibited extensively including the Georgia Museum of Art, the Masur Museum of Art, the Florida Museum of Art and the Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans; in New York, at the Viridian Gallery and the Asian Cultural Center; and internationally, at the Palazzo Vagnotti in Cortona, Italy.

Authement also oftentimes teams with fellow BRG Artist Member and sculptor, Michael w. Howes, under the name M.J. Bronz. In collaboration with Michael w. Howes and Sheri Watkins, Monroe City Hall awarded her a public sculpture commission, Seedling.

Authement is presently an art instructor at Fletcher Technical Community College in Houma, LA.
