Biography:
In addition to creating wearable art and vessel forms, Bush likes to build functional non-art objects such as recumbent tricycles, wood kayaks, paddles and car parts using some of the same materials he incorporates in his art.
Bush has exhibited work regionally, nationally and internationally including Gallery M.I.M. (Made In Metal) in Baltimore, Maryland, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft in Louisville, Kentucky and Perimeter Gallery in Chicago, Illinois. His work is a part of many private collections as well as the National Ornamental Metal Museum and has been featured in five books about jewelry and jewelry making by Lark Publishing.
Cody Bush currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, coordinating the Metalwork and Jewelry area.
