LEFT: Art enthusiasts of all ages came out to enjoy the work of Artist Members Charles Barbier, Hunter Roth and Steve Schmidt. It was a party that had as colorful a crowd as it did art on the walls. While Ill Whiskey provided the night's musical entertainment, many read Schmidt's poetry, spun Roth's "Wheel of Unrealistic Death," and conversed with the many Barbier collaborators. |

LEFT: Baton Rouge Gallery was smack-dab in the middle of the Grand Re-Opening of BREC's Historic City-Brooks Community Park on Saturday, May 31. The gallery was involved in everything from the selling of collectible BRG squeeze bottles, an Artist Member Portfolio Sale, a gallery reception for the Grand Re-Opening and Movies & Music on the Lawn's showing of Charlie Chaplin's The Circus. It was an exciting day for the gallery to re-intorduce itself to all in attendance! |

LEFT: The "First Wednesday" in May saw a spectacular turnout, a collective body of Baton Rouge's artistically friendly community with one thing in mind - enjoying the work of Mary Ann Caffery, Samuel Joseph Corso and Amy James. Many mingled, many danced (along to the sounds of The Bill Kimbrell Trio) but all had a wonderful evening of conversation, art and refreshments. |

LEFT: The big winners in the annual CFA REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCE Juried High School Exhibition were happy to not only accept their prizes from community sponsors such as Barnes & Noble - CitiPlace, The Compact Disc Store, and the Co-op Bookstore, but were just glad to have their work shown in a real-world professional setting. First place went to Christina Garrett, second to Tremaine Javius and Laura Martinez took home third. Elizabeth Ingram is shown to the left posing with her piece, one of five honorable mentions in this year's exhibit. Other honorable mentions include: Monique Cockerham, Leah Avellone, Blaze Gasquet and Logan Wheeler. |

LEFT: The Baton Rouge community came out in droves to enjoy the work of Kelli Scott Kelley, Katherine Scherer and Leanne McClurg Cambric during the March 5 opening reception. Artist Member Paul Dean kept spirits high on the patio with a mix of dance music and classic rock that he danced along to all night.
