Reni Zietz's photographs capture her own interpretation of the world. She explores fragments of life in their stillest forms and modes. She explores worlds of curious relationships with ever evolving subject matter and stories.
Zietz's photography has been shown throughout the state of Louisiana from Baton Rouge to New Orleans to Lake Charles. Born in New Orleans, Zietz attributes the photographs she takes to her sweet father from Jeanerette, La., and her bittersweet mother from Hambach, Germany.
She has taught photography at Louisiana State University, served as Artist Liaison to the Board of Directors of Baton Rouge Gallery from 2001-2003, and managed the Image Resources for the LSU Special Collections at Hill Memorial Library.
