LSU-SOAD INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

We are excited to offer Studio Art Internships as a part of LSU ART 4020 Internship guidelines. Expectations are outlined in the package below and are passed along to all BRG Artists participating. As a part of your Internship, you will be required to attend and assist with events.

Baton Rouge Gallery is a 50+ year old Artist cooperative gallery representing almost 60 Artist Members making it the oldest and largest continuously operating Artist cooperative in the nation. For more information on our history and mission visit http://www.batonrougegallery.org/mission-history/.

IMPORTANT DATES

Helping with gallery events an important part of your internship. Once enrolled, you will receive a calendar of events. Attendance to all events are mandatory.  Most installation and deinstallation of work is not cumbersome but a few exhibitions are extensive and require a team and are therefore mandatory. Learning how to hang and de-install exhibitions is a useful skill and we will teach you all of the steps you need. Please arrive 30 minutes before every First Wednesday Night Open. For any questions or concerns you can call 225.383.1470 or email info@batonrougegallery.org
