On Sunday, August 31, join us for a conversation with Taylor Hollyer, Director of Artistic Operations at Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, about their upcoming presentation of “Pictures at an Exhibition.” As with all Sundays@4 presentations, this will be free and open to the public.
Pictures at an Exhibition is a piano suite in ten movements, plus a recurring and varied Promenade theme, written in 1874 by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky. This iteration will be presented with a special visual arts collaboration between Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and Baton Rouge Gallery on September 18th.
Join us as we talk to BRSO about the production and hear movements from the performance.
