being a KINETICS sponsor supports art in louisiana’s capital city

This year, we again celebrate KINETICS (presented by Hancock Whitney) as a virtual event. KINETICS is a night of celebrating and supporting the arts as Baton Rouge Gallery’s (”BRG”) largest and only fundraising event. After more than a year of unpredictability, our annual art auction is more important than ever! Join us in raising money this year to keep BRG open, admission to the gallery free, and all BRG programming low-cost.

Fifty-five years ago, BRG began exhibiting the artwork of a dozen prominent local artists in a small gallery space. Today, BRG shares the work of 70 artist members with thousands of people in its home inside BREC’s City Park. Since 1966, we have built a community space that fosters artistic expression, discussion, and programming while enhancing the quality of life in the greater Baton Rouge area.

We hope you will join us in celebrating a night of community, art, and BRG!

This special night supports local and contemporary art in Louisiana's capital city year-round. Your support and the success of this great night allows the gallery to focus on its mission and programming throughout the rest of the year. We thank everyone whose contributions during this great event help make the arts in our community - and thus, the community itself - stronger!

The star of the show, as always, is the work of your favorite BRG Artist Members. The bidding for each piece, regardless of the work’s size, media, or the artist behind the work, will open at just $100 via online bidding. Then, on November 18, our auctioneer picks up the bidding and crowns a winner for each piece!

A portion of the evening's proceeds goes directly to the local and regional artists that make up the gallery's artist member roster with the remaining funds supporting BRG's twelve exhibitions annually, numerous popular cultural and educational programs, and more!
