“Asian art has long been a source of inspiration for my work. Elements of Japanese art—such as asymmetrical composition, pattern, and flat color—have heavily influenced my art. The artistic exchange between China and Japan is long-standing, with both cultures drawing extensively from the natural world to convey emotion and meaning. In these prints, I use imagery of plants and landscapes to reflect my responses to nature and to express the emotions I experience while immersed in it.” -Goodell

This exhibition is presented alongside the latest works from Kathryn Baczeski, Christopher Scott Brumfield, & Heather Ryan Kelley. All works from these artists are on view, free of charge, during regular gallery hours (12 - 6 p.m., Tue - Sun) from Jan 31 - Feb 22, 2026.
